All we have is tonight.” It may be on the radio a lot, but it’s not true. More than likely, you don’t just have tonight. You have tomorrow night and the next night, and a thousand nights after that. You have more to think about than just the moment you’re in. Part of walking in purity is learning to have long-term vision. What dreams do you have? What do you want your life to look like? Who do you want to be part of it? The dreams you have are not a mistake. God put them there for a reason. The thing is, He doesn’t just care about you living your dream, He cares about the person you are when you get there. He cares that you are able to handle the pressures that come upon a person who has influence. That’s why we go after health not just in the area of sexuality, but in every area. That’s why we take care of our body, soul, and spirit. That’s why we recognize our weaknesses and make plans to overcome them. That’s why we partner with God to be strong in an area where so many have felt weak. No matter where you are on your journey, remember that you’re not stuck and you’re not powerless. God’s given you everything you need to walk out purity. It may take some big steps, some drastic changes, but you can be completely free and completely healthy, and you can walk others into freedom as well.
