# God changes lives...yours too ! Here’s a testimony that a reader of ' [ A Miracle Every Day ](http://bit.ly/miracles-god-is-powerful) ' named Vanessa wrote to me. It touched me deeply, and I thought it might encourage you concerning your life...or perhaps for someone dear to you, someone you may see no solution for… “I am a 28-year-old young woman. I had a difficult childhood. My parents divorced when I was 3, and my mother abandoned us and left us with our father. We experienced hunger, humiliation, wanting to own certain things that we couldn’t because of a lack of money. I suffered deeply, I lacked self-confidence, I always felt inferior to others, and I believed that I wasn’t worth anything. My dad was a pastor, but I didn’t know that God was my father. I finally realized it when I was 28…for all those years, the devil had lied to me and tortured me. It was this year that God revealed Himself to me through a dream and showed me that He was never far from me during that time. He was always there, and He loves me. When I woke up, I had tears in my eyes and knelt down on the floor and prayed. That day, I felt the love of the Father overwhelm me, and I began to worship Him. I was able to experience the Holy Spirit as a real person and not just as a “force.” I made Him my confidant and my partner. He is a divine, powerful, humble, gentle Person who is pleased when we are happy. Since this unforgettable time, my life has completely changed. I am a new person—the old things have truly passed away. Today I fully live my life, I face challenges with courage, and I have become someone full of self-confidence. I know now that I’m not inferior to anyone, but that we are all simply different. I love the Lord with all my heart, with all my soul, and with all my mind. I’m sharing my testimony to strengthen all those who are currently struggling with times of sadness, depression, lack of self-confidence, rejection, and solitude. I want you to know that God is our Father. Have confidence in Him, believe in Him. He can transform a messy life into a springboard.” Glory to God…He changes lives!
