Working nights on the “Hoot Shift” as a police officer in the Oklahoma City metro area, I sometimes had to back up officers on “Strip Club Row.” Every club was packed. The line for admission was wrapped around the building. The scene reminded me of cattle waiting in line to be slaughtered. Each person entering knew that what was inside was toxic, yet they wanted it regardless of the consequences – because they didn’t have a game plan.
