Walk By Faith
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV
Choose to walk by faith and not by popularity. Hebrews 11:1 AMPC declares, “NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].” Oftentimes walking by faith means walking forward when others do not see what you see.
Many times walking by faith means to walk when others are crawling. Many times, walking by faith means to move forward when others want to stay stagnant. Many times, walking by faith means creating a trail when you cannot see a visible path.
Hebrews 11:8 KJV declares, “By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.” Abraham trusted God beyond his place of comfort.
Abraham left what was familiar to pursue the high prize. Sometimes, you have to leave what is comfortable in order to pursue the Promises of God. Choose to follow His Voice. Choose to surrender to the Promises of God.
It takes faith to forsake the opinion of the majority in order to gain the approval of One. Choose not to be men-pleasers. Seek to serve God. Pursue the approval of One. Seek the approval of Christ. Walk by faith and not by what you see.
