He also made the stars. </span></span><span class="verse v17" data-usfm="GEN.1.17"><span class="label">17</span><span class="content">God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, </span></span><span class="verse v18" data-usfm="GEN.1.18"><span class="label">18</span><span class="content">to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness.
