Thật vậy, anh em đã không nhận lấy tinh thần làm nô lệ để cứ sống trong sự sợ hãi, nhưng đã nhận lấy tinh thần làm con nuôi, và nhờ đó, chúng ta gọi rằng: “A-ba! Cha!” Chính Thánh Linh làm chứng với tâm linh chúng ta rằng chúng ta là con cái Đức Chúa Trời. Nếu là con cái thì chúng ta cũng là người thừa kế, vừa là người thừa kế của Đức Chúa Trời vừa là người cùng thừa kế với Đấng Christ; nếu chúng ta thật sự cùng chịu khổ với Ngài thì chúng ta sẽ cùng được vinh quang với Ngài.
