- Wuujw tà 'ootes'íhi', tà 'oyaakyàj 'woyiis tà lajlatéesa'.
Tha hàp tà lhaamelh yok:
- Tok 'yaaj'noyehen', 'aalawukt'at. 5Wet lhaam tajwóomejt'et' kyiinajt'àhes, tà 'iikyàjwi Yooswuke'. Wet 'inúuphàt'et'a'. Wet yik, wet lhaa'ijwuhatlhih. 6Wet 'noohusewos tà lhaaménhyah, takyúu-mat'et' kyiinajt'àjtsoh. Wet lhaamelh yok:
- Tok la'nààyij kyek 'iyaathate 'nooqa-thatkyà', tsi hàp tà 'noo'woyis tà laha'. 7Wet tà pajkyet'et' lhaamelh 'iwolatiikyu-nhayahaya wet, lhaamelh 'ikyâjt'et' honhat tà 'noyok 'Iyhààtwoqahonhat, tà hààpqhila-k 'íihi-k 'notjhàànkyeky'oye lap'iitseyheyh wi-kyi tà tâlho 'eelh honhat. 8Wet hàp tààjtso tà tameenej tà honhaat-tsoh, 'nowolhéeya' tha', 'Woyiis'wet, yàt hàp 'ijwaalanah. 9Wet hàp tà tájo la'wet lhààmet Yooslhàmet-wop'ante lheey Jweelemíyas, tà yok:
Wet lhaamelh takyúuma kyiinajt'àhes tà
'íihi laajtumjwáya tijwek,
tà hâàpe laha' hi'no tà 'notíihi laha'.
10Wet lhaamelh 'ikyâàjej honhat tà lheey
'Iyhààtwoqahonhat,
màànhyej tà 'Noowuk 'isuukun'nóyej.
Piiláto ta'yààtshanho Jweesus
11Wet Jweesus taqaasitt'at tà 'íikye tà tataa- kye niyaat, wet lhaam ta'yààtshanét'et' Jwee- sus tha yok:
- Hà 'aahâpe jwuulalesqaniyat?
Wet Jweesus nikyúulhot'et' tha yok:

- Ky'àj kyi hààteh, hà tok lalààte 'imaa-yhey tà lhaamelh 'ayenlatéesa', tà yààmej-'ámeh? 14Tha hàp tà lhaam', tok nikyúulho', ky'ayh-thiyejent'a-k 'iwehyáalha lhààmet. Wet ta-méenejt'et' tà niyaat, wuujw tà 'inúuyejphà'.
Jweesus 'nojweenho latààhyaj
15Wet tà nikyâàte 'ijwáala tà 'nooqàjyaj wet, niyaat lakyuumhyaj tà 'inuuhatphà 'elht'a-k hâàpe wikyi tà 'nop'óohikye', tà wikyi t'áa-lhejeh. 16Wet 'íikyep'ante hi'no tà 'nop'óohi', tà wuujw tà 'noyààmejlhih, tà lheey Wààlàwàs. 17Wet tà wikyi lhaayahutwek wet, Piiláto ta-'yààtshane lhaamelh tha yok:
- 'Àp háats'i hi'no tà lahuuminay kyek 'onuuhatphà'ameyho'? Wok Wààlàwàs, wok Jweesus, tà 'noyok Meesíyas? 18Tsi hàp tà Piilátoh, yahaanejt'at tà wikyi t'ààytenhyaj tà tameenej tà lhaamelh yaa-kyâje Jweesus. 19Wet tà tapààphà', tà 'íihi 'nooqalelhthayaj-'wet, wet laky'eejwah, 'iwolakyeenekáye' tha yok:
- Ky'áhya-k 'iwóoye-k 'aalat'uytho hi'no tà 'is'aalhohotsoh, tsi hàp tà wuujw 'oop'at-tseyaj tà 'otjwiilhanmatlà lhaam'. 20Tha hàp tà 'noohusewos tà lhaaménhyah, wet thàànhàyh, lhaamelh 'iniityenej wikyi kyek t'áalhe Wààlàwàs; wet Jweesus wet, lham t'uhlà-k 'nolàành. 21Wet niyaat nikyúulho lhaamelh tha', yàà- me tha yok:
- 'Àp háats'i 'eelh kyek lahuuminay kyek 'onuuhatphà'ameyho'?
Wet lhaamelh yok:
- Wààlàwàs. 22Wet Piilátoh ta'yààtshane lhaamelh tha yok:
- Wet 'àp háats'i 'imak kyek lawaatayhlà-k 'oyeene Jweesus, tà 'nowolhéeya' tha', Mee-síyas?

Wet lhaamelh laqaamkyetey 'itii-kyet'apej tà tataakye', wet 'ilààklhilhayis tha yopej:
- Kyi 'iwóoyeh, jwuulalesqaniyat? 30Wet lhaamelh 'ijwaats'unlhít'et'a', wet yi-ket'apej ha'là tà 'íihi takey', wet 'yáajej lhee-tek. 31Wet tà tajwaatshít'et' tà lhaamelh 'ilààklhi wet, 'àp 'ilaanhi 'noo'wuy tà 'ikyààttsoh, wet 'àp 'yuuhyenkye la'wuuyis. Wet lhaamelh 'ikyâjt'et'a', tà hip'áajtej kuluus.
Jweesus 'nop'áajtej kuluus; wet 'yilh
32Wet tà lhaamelh 'inúukephà', tà yikhen', wet hi'weenhlà hi'no tà lheey Siimonh, tà Siilenelhele'. Lhaamtso wet, lhaamelh 'iniit-yenej kyek 'ikyàj kuluus. 33Wet tà lhaamelh nikyâàte honhat tà lheey Woolwotah, tà 'inúuphà' tha yok: 'Nolhee-teklhile'wet, 34wet lhaamelh hi'weenho 'uuwast'i', tà 'no-qaasóyej 'imak tà tapaay', tà lhaamelh ne'-te-k 'iyâàyej. Wet tà lhaam yeelhte wet, tok yahuumin kyek 'àp 'iyâàyej. 35Wet tà waaq'alh tà 'nop'áajtej ha'là wet, lhaamelh yaqóoyej la'wuuyis, wet hi'ween-lhamenhómkye'. Lhaamelh yaqóoyej 'oo'wuyis,
wet hi'weenlhámenhómkye'. 36Wet lhaamelh tapààkyephàt'at, tà t'úuyeh. 37Wet 'notii'pe lheetek 'nootshànhay tà ya-qaalelhàt 'imak tà tameenej tà 'nolàành, tà yok: HÀP TÀÀJI JWEESUS, TÀ JWUULALESQA-NIYAT. 38Wet 'àp 'nop'áajtej kuluus nitààkjwas 'eetan-tses, tà hap'áaqej lhaam', 'eelh túmej la-jwóomqat, wet 'eelh túmej lats'áamqat. 39Wet wikyi 'inuukepej lhiip tha', 'ilààklhih, wet 'ilaanwethà lheetheyh. 40Wet lhaamelh yok:
- 'Aam tà lhok: 'Iwóoye-k 'owaasthi Yoos-wuke', wet 'ijwáalas laajtumjwáya wet, 'àp waaq'alh kyek 'oneeyhetphà'; 'athaana wet, 'aajwayhet! Kyek 'aahâpe Yooslhàs wet, nuhkyà', tà lhéehi kuluus. 41Wet 'àp mânhyejt'atso 'noohusewos tà lhaaménhyah, tà lhaamelh 'àp 'ilààklhih, lhà'ya 'nootshànhaywos, wet jwààlisewolha-yis, wet thàànhàyh. Lhaamelh yok: 42- 'Iyhàj wet, 'ijwaayhthen', wet lhaam tok 'iwóoye-k lhaa'ijwayhet. Kyek hâàpe 'Iisla-'elhqaniyat wet, t'uhlà-k 'inuuhkyà', 'athaa-nah, tà 'íihi kuluus. Wet neeky'ehla-k 'olhaa-melh 'ot'ekháayeh. 43Lhaam wet, t'ekháaye Yoos. 'Athaana wet, 'is kyek Yoos 'ijwaayhet, kyek Yoos yahuu-minh. Tsi hàp tà lhaam yonaj: 'Ohâàpe Yooslhàs.

- Téejih, lhek 'inaatetshant'a-k nààm 'Ee-líyas, kyek 'ijwaayhthilah, p'íiya'. 50Tha lhaam Jweesus, yaakyâjo tà lhaa-'ijwitsenej tà t'àành, wet màànhyejtso' tha', yaakyàj layaalh. 51Wet 'íihi tà weesaj tà 'iikyàjwi Yooswuke', tà 'notuumhtejlà laqaakyowej tà Yoost'a- majkyet tà lhámhyah, hik'eeskye', tâlhe tà túmphà', yàt paj tha nikyàthonháateh. Wet honhat wet, 'waahu', wet tuunteyh, 'ipoojhen'. 52Wet tajwookyehen 'ahààt'wetes, wet wuujw-pe wikyi tà Yoost'amajkyetes, tà pajkye-p'ante 'yinhen', 'àp néekyephà', 53wet 'inúukephà', tà tâlho 'not'oolis. (Wet tà tajwaatshi tà Jweesus 'àp 'inúuphà wet, lhaamelh nekho honhat tà Yoost'amajkyet, tà lheey Jweelusalenh, wet lhaa'ipàyne wuujwpe wikyi'.) 54Wet kuuykoqaniyat, lhà'ya 'iyhàj tà 'íiyej lhaam', tà lhaamelh t'úuye Jweesus, wet tà lhaamelh hi'ween honhat tà 'waahu', wet 'iyhàj 'imaayhey tà 'íikye', wet wuujw tà lanoowahyahay'íhikye'. Wet lhaamelh yok:
- Matqhat máatkye p'at'a', tà hâàpe Yoos-lhàs, hi'noonih. 55Wet 'íikye wuujwpe 'atsiinhay tà 'iyaahin' tha 'atoojwého', tà hâàpet'et' 'atsiinhay tà nekkyét'et' lhaam', tà tâlho Waaliléyah, tà lhaamelh hi'weenhopej laky'ootyaj. 56Wet lhaamelhtso wet, 'íikyet'et' 'eelh tà lheey Maalíyah, tà 'noyok Maaklalalhele', wet 'eelh tà lheehjwah, tà Jwaakówoh wet Jwoseh lhaamelh laqoh, wet 'eelh tà Seewe-lewolesqoh.
Jweesus 'notjhàànky'oye'
57Wet tà honaatsi wet, nààm hi'no tà 'Aalima-teyalhele', tà lheey Jwoseh, tà hâàpe hi'no tà hi'ween 'imaayek, tà àp hààte hààpe-mháji Jweesuskyujwanek. 58Wet hi'nootso wet, yahóoye Piilátoh, wet t'áalheje Jweesusp'itsek. Wet Piilátoh ne'- te-k 'no'weenho'. 59Wet Jwoseh, takyúuma Jweesusp'itsek, wet yaqààjwléjkye weesaj tà nojwi'. 60Wet 'ithaatkyàjwi 'ahààt'wet tà neeky'e tà waaq'alh, tà 'not'et'tíjo kyeenaj, tà lawúuk-t'et' lhaam'. Wet tà tajwaatshi tà yahuutho lape' tuunte tà wuujw, wet yik. 61Wet Maalíya tà Maaklalalhele', wet 'eelh tà lheehjwah, tapààkyephàt'at tà 'íikye tà ta-taakye 'ahààt'wet.

62Wet tà 'ijwáala', tà tajwaatshi 'ijwáala tà 'nowaaq'lhatkyà 'imaayheyh, wet 'noohuse-wos tà lhaaménhyah, wet jwààlisewolhayis, lhaayahutt'et'wek tà 'íikye tà tataakye Pii-látoh. 63Wet lhaamelh yààmét'et' tha yok:
- 'Iwuuk, 'olhaamelh 'ookyowej'inuhlà hi-'no tà 'aqaantsajtsoh, tàjmhaj qamaj 'iluun-lhih, tà yààmlháme' tha yok: Kyek tajwaa-yhitshila 'ijwáalas 'íihi laajtumjwáya wet, 'onuuhiphàlah. 64'Athaana wet, sukúunej 'aqaakuykolis kyek t'úuye 'ahààt'wet, pajla' tha 'ijwáalas laaj-tumjwáyah. - 'Itsí'we kuuykolis tà t'uuhiyelah. Màhen', 'is kyek lat'aamajayej kyek laqhaajyenay lape'. 66Wet màànhyejt'et'tso' tha', lhaamelh yi-khen'. Wet yaqhaajyen 'ahààt'wetpe'; wet 'àp 'iwolateetnekáyej tuunte', kyek tok 'iwóo- ye-k 'nowaalayneh. Wet lhaamelh hi'nâà-yejt'et' 'nooqasthaynhay kyek t'úuyeh.
