Your PERSONAL PrayerНамуна

Can I have your full attention for a moment?
Let me ask you something: “Do you remember what you prayed today?”
Oof… That hits, right? It’s so easy to realize that sometimes, when we pray, our minds aren’t really present. And then we read in Matthew 6: “When you pray, don’t babble on…” (Matthew 6:7 NLT). Double oof—because let’s be honest, how often do we find ourselves just babbling, not really thinking, just saying stuff while we’re distracted?
But these kinds of questions are good. They help us reset. Realign.
So, how can we show God we’re sorry? 🤔 The same way we would with anyone else: by talking with Him, through prayer. And I’ve actually written one out for you, if you want to pray it with me:
“Father, forgive me. Sometimes when I pray, I don’t even finish my sentences. I’m rushed… distracted… not really present. Help me realize who I’m talking to—and who’s listening. YOU—the great and mighty God—are listening to me.
And yet I dare to toss out a few words half-heartedly, like it’s no big deal… But even then, You’re so patient and loving with me. You understand me.
And because there’s no one like You, I want to give You the kind of attention I don’t give to anyone else. When I pray, I want to give You my whole heart. My full attention.
I don’t want to rush through conversations with You anymore. Because honestly, everything else can wait.
It’s wild how easily I get distracted while praying—a text, a phone call, my growling stomach…
But in the end, none of it really matters. Your presence is all my heart and soul truly need. ❤️
When I pray, I want to be all in with undivided attention.
Thank You for being who You are, Father. Thank You for being in my life.
Amen."
You are a miracle!
