Qualified by Grace

There have been so many moments when I felt God calling me to something, whether it was leadership, coaching, leading worship, or the counseling field; and my first reaction was, “Are You sure, Lord? You’re calling, me?” Well, I bet that’s how Moses felt, too. When God called him to free His people, Moses immediately pointed to his weaknesses: his speech, his fear, his lack of confidence in himself. Sound familiar? But God didn’t ask him to bring perfection to the table, He asked him to bring obedience!

Maybe you’ve been delaying your “yes” to God because you think you need to be more prepared, more skilled, more like someone else. I know, because this mindset delayed me from walking in my purpose numerous times! But the truth is, God doesn’t call the perfect, He calls the willing! Grace is the qualifier, not the World! When we make the confident and faithful decision to step out, God steps in! And what you think disqualifies you is often the very thing He wants to use for His glory! My God!
