Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her!

Matthew 23:37, NASB

Have you ever felt as though no one sees or understands your difficulties? Have you felt as though you were alone in the world? Take heart today, knowing that your heavenly Father knows the depths of your dilemmas. He sees the injustice, the oppression, and the devastating suffering. Does He sit idle, just watching and knowing?

Jesus revealed God’s active love when He told the people how He felt about the suffering of His prophets and servants. He said, “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her!” He then warned the people about a time of judgment and retribution as a result of their actions.

Find comfort in God’s plan for your life. He knows and sees everything concerning you. And He will carry out His plan for you. He promises.

Lord today I trust You in the trials of my life, knowing that You know, You see, and You will act on my behalf. Amen.
