Sit, Walk, Stand - a 40 Day Walk Through of EphesiansНамуна

Eph 3:20-21
These verses conclude the previous paragraph but deserve to stand on their own as they are often quoted.
Ephesians 3:20-21
Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
God is able. That statement alone is worth remembering. God is able. Whatever you’re facing, whatever challenge is in front of you, God is able.
And He’s not just able to do just enough. No, He’s able to do immeasurably more. Truth is, God always does more than enough. It reflects who He is. His generous nature. He is more. “More than all we can ask or imagine”.
This is not just a reference to the magnitude, but the wisdom involved. In a way, we play checkers, while God plays chess. Do not just trust in God’s ability, but also how and when He does it.
At the end of the day, what God does, will bring glory to Him.

About this Plan

Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? The Christian walk can make you feel like striving when really everything has been done for you by Jesus, but there is still so much to be done. This is the tension every Christian walks in. The tension between the NOW & the NOT-YET. We are SEATED with Jesus, now WALK IT OUT, so that you may STAND.
