2 Kings 7:3

Many people go through life thinking they are living when by the way they live, it seems more like they are dying. To them, life is nothing more than existing and getting by day after day. Jesus says in the Scriptures that He is Life. When we have His life in us, we have abundant life—exciting, enthusiastic life. Once we realize that, we stop dying and start really living.

Spend 5 days being challenged to stand in faith, to pray faith filled prayers and to believe that God can use you to accomplish amazing things for his Kingdom in your life and in the lives of others.

We will look at eight economic disasters recorded in the Bible which resulted in severe famine. Famine was an ending – the result of disobedience and sin – and a beginning, a potential turning point toward a better, more faithful future. Financial problems form an opportunity for change and a chance for a new beginning. What can we learn from these economic disasters for our own situation today?
