We build trust in our relationship with our spouse through words and actions. One way that we can cultivate confidence is by taking steps to avoid succumbing to temptations. We can also initiate words of appreciation, encouragement, and reassurance. This week, let's consider ideas for approaching this “action plan” to demonstrate our love for one another.

From the beginning, God gave us the ability to speak with power—our words create, shape, and influence our lives because we are made in His image. At the heart of this plan is one truth: the tongue holds the power of life and death, and we will eat the fruit of what we speak. Over the next three days, we will explore the power of choice, the danger of careless words, and the path to speaking life, healing, and blessing.
