Every year, it seems like the holidays sneak up on us. There is so much hustle and bustle. Getting shopping done, making sure every inch of the house is ready for the party.
In a season known as one of the busiest of the year, what would it look like if we truly paused to focus on Jesus? We pick up Christmas cards and share posts that say, “Jesus is the reason for the season!” But how can we actually live that out?
This season, we challenge ourselves to be in His presence more than ever: to take time each day in communion with Him, even if just for five minutes; to fill our homes with songs that glorify Him; and to be continuously reminded that He is the gift that never fades, the presence that fills our hearts with peace.
He is the best part.
Prayer: Jesus, help me to keep my eyes on You, the greatest gift of all. May Your presence be the best part of every moment I live today. Amen.
