එහෙත් එයින් පවසන්නේ කුමක් ද? “වචනය ඇත්තේ ඔබට ඉතා සමීප ව ය; එය ඔබේ මුවෙහි ය, ඔබේ හදවතේ ය” කියා ය. ඒ, අප ප්‍රකාශ කරන ඇදහිල්ලේ වචනයයි. මන්ද යේසුස්වහන්සේ, ස්වාමින්වහන්සේ යැයි ඔබේ මුවින් ප්‍රකාශ කරන්නේ නම්, දෙවියන්වහන්සේ මළවුන්ගෙන් උන්වහන්සේ නැගිට වූ වග ඔබේ හදවතින් විශ්වාස කරන්නේ නම්, ඔබ ගලවනු ලබනු ඇත. මන්ද හදවතින් විශ්වාස කිරීමෙන් කෙනෙක් ධර්මිෂ්ඨ කරනු ලබයි; මුවින් ප්‍රකාශ කිරීමෙන් කෙනෙක් ගලවනු ලබයි. මන්ද, “උන්වහන්සේ තුළ විශ්වාස කරන කිසිවෙක් ලජ්ජාවට පත් කරනු ලබන්නේ නැතැ” යි ශුද්ධ ලියවිල්ල පවසයි. මන්ද යුදෙව් සහ ග්‍රීක කියා වෙනසක් නැත; උන්වහන්සේ හැමෝට ම ස්වාමියාණන් වන එක ම ස්වාමින්වහන්සේ ව සිටිමින්, තමන් අයදින සියල්ලනට ස්වකීය ඉසුර ප්‍රදාන කරන සේක. මන්ද, “ස්වාමින්වහන්සේගේ නාමයෙන් අයදින හැම කෙනෙක් ම ගලවනු ලබන්නේ ය.” එසේ නම්, තමන් විශ්වාසය නො තැබූ කෙනකුට ඔවුන් යදින්නේ කොහොම ද? එසේ ම, තමන් නො ඇසූ කෙනකු තුළ ඔවුන් විශ්වාසය තබන්නේ කොහොම ද? යමෙක් දේශනා නො කළොත් ඔවුන් අහන්නේ කොහොම ද? තවද යවනු ලැබුවොත් මිස, යමෙක් දේශනා කරන්නේ කොහොම ද? ලියා තිබෙන පරිදි, “සුබ ආරංචි ගෙනෙන අයගේ පාද, කොපමණ අලංකාර ද!” එහෙත් ඔවුන් සියලු දෙනා ශුභාරංචියට කීකරු වූයේ නැත. මන්ද යෙසායා කතා කරමින්, “ස්වාමින්වහන්ස, අප පැවසූ පණිවුඩය විශ්වාස කළේ කවුරු දැ?” යි පවසයි.
