උන්වහන්සේ යෙරුසලම බලා යන අතරේ නගර හා ගම් ඔස්සේ උගන්වමින් ගමන් ගත් සේක. කෙනෙක් උන්වහන්සේ අමතා, “ස්වාමිනි, ගැලවීම ලබන්නේ ස්වල්ප දෙනකු පමණක් දැ?” යි ඇසුවේ ය. උන්වහන්සේ ඔවුන්ට පිළිතුරු දෙමින්, “පටු දොරෙන් ම ඇතුළු වන්නට වෙර දරන්න. මන්ද මා ඔබට කියන්නේ, බොහෝ දෙනකු ඇතුල් වන්නට සොයන නමුත් නො හැකි වනු ඇත කියායි. ගෙදර ස්වාමියා නැගිට, දොර වැසූ පසු, ඔබ පිටත සිට දොරට තට්ටු කරමින්, ‘ස්වාමිනි, අපට දොර අරින්නැ’ යි කියනු ඇත. “එවිට එතුමා පිළිතුරු දෙමින්, ‘ඔබ කොහේ සිට ආවා ද කියා මා දන්නේ නැතැ’ යි කියනු ඇත. “එකල ඔබ පිළිතුරු දෙමින්, ‘අපි ඔබ සමඟ කෑවෙමු; බීවෙමු; ඔබතුමා අපේ වීදිවල ඉගැන්වූහ’ යි කියනු ඇත. “එහෙත්, එතුමන් පිළිතුරු දෙමින්, ‘මා ඔබට කියන්නේ, නුඹලා කොහි සිට ආවාදැයි මා දන්නේ නෑ. අධර්මිෂ්ඨකම් කරන සියල්ලෙනි, මා වෙතින් බැහැර ව යනු’ කියා කියනු ඇත. “ආබ්‍රහම් ද ඊසාක් ද යාකොබ් ද දිවැසිවරුන් හැම දෙනා ද දෙවියන්වහන්සේගේ රාජ්‍යයේ සිටිනුත්, ඔබ ඉන් පිටත දමනු ලැබ සිටිනුත්, ඔබ දකින කල එතැන වැලපීමත්, දත්මිටි කෑමත් වන්නේ ය. නැගෙනහිරින් හා බස්නාහිරින් ද උතුරින් හා දකුණින් ද ජනයා පැමිණ, දෙවියන්වහන්සේගේ රාජ්‍යයේ මංගල්‍ය භෝජනයට අසුන් ගනු ඇත. සැබවින් ම, දැන් අන්තිමයින් වන ඇතමෙක් ප්‍රථමයින් ද දැන් ප්‍රථමයින් වන ඇතමෙක් අන්තිමයින් ද වනු ඇතැ” යි පැවසූ සේක.
