It's easy to believe our identity is defined by our accomplishments, failures, or the expectations others place on us. But God tells a different story. Before you ever achieved anything—or experienced disappointment—you were created with purpose. You are God's workmanship, uniquely designed to reflect His glory.

Sometimes, God's calling doesn't come all at once. Instead, He leads us one step at a time. He uses seasons of uncertainty, loss, and waiting to shape our character before revealing where He's taking us. The question isn't simply, "What do I want to do with my life?" but "Who is God calling me to become?"

As Petra's The Coloring Song reminds us, God is continually transforming us through His redeeming work. As we surrender our plans to Him, He faithfully paints a picture far greater than anything we could create ourselves.

Prayer

Father, thank You for creating me with purpose. Help me find my identity in You rather than in success, approval, or circumstances. Lead me faithfully into the good works You have prepared for me, and give me courage to follow wherever You call. Amen.
