Day 1: Light in the Chaos
It all began with a word. In the beginning, when the earth was formless and empty, God's first response to the chaos was: "Let there be light!" That light did more than just separate day from night; it marked the beginning of order, life, and hope.
Sometimes, our lives can feel like that initial void: messy, empty, or shrouded in deep confusion. But the same voice that illuminated the universe wants to speak to your heart today. John reminds us that Jesus is the true light that shines in the darkness, and the most glorious truth is that the darkness has not, and will never be able to, overcome it.
Today, understand that God does not wait for your life to be in order before bringing His light; His light is what brings the order. Allow His Word to illuminate the areas of chaos in your life and trust that the Creator is beginning a new work in you.
