Turning Toward the Light: Finding Faith Through Dark SeasonsSample

Day 1: Planted in Dirt
Motto: Seeds begin buried in dark soil.
Every sunflower begins the same way — as a seed buried in the dirt. Hidden. Covered. Unseen.
Seasons of life can feel like that too. Moments when prayers seem unanswered, progress feels invisible, and everything around us feels dark, lonely, and hopeless.
But what looks like burial and hopelessness is often the beginning of growth.
God does some of His most meaningful work in the unseen places of our lives — shaping our character, strengthening our faith, and preparing us for something we can’t yet see.
Maybe He can use our difficult seasons to seep hope and growth into the crevices of darkness and lifelessness in the people and places around us.
The soil that feels heavy today may be the very place new life begins.
Prayer:
God, help me trust that even in the unseen places of my life, You are still working.
Every day of this plan, I want to end with this simple affirmation:
I want you to say it like you mean it. Belt it. Beat box to it. Write it on a sticky note.
🌻🌻🌻 Affirmation:
I turn toward the light. (Jesus)
I grow through storms. (Difficult seasons)
I bloom where I am planted. (Wherever God has me right now)
I carry warmth and share it freely. (I want to share the love of Jesus with everyone I meet)
