Kingdom Multiplication: A 4-Day Church Planting JourneySample

Evangelizing - Reaching the Lost
Key Verse: "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." Mark 16:15
Devotional:
Jesus was intentional about reaching outsiders. In John 4, we see Him cross cultural boundaries to reach a Samaritan woman—someone His disciples would have avoided. His method was strategic: cultivate relationships, sow the seed of the gospel, and reap a harvest.
Church planting begins with evangelism. Like Jesus, we must:
- Cultivate authentic relationships with unbelievers in our communities.
- Sow by sharing the Good News of God's love and forgiveness.
- Reap by inviting people to receive Christ as Lord and Savior.
Notice how Jesus engaged the woman at the well. He met a felt need (water), built a relationship, and then revealed spiritual truth. The result? An entire village came to faith!
Reflection Questions:
- Who are the "outsiders" in your community that God is calling you to reach?
- What cultural or social barriers do you need to cross to share the gospel effectively?
- How can you cultivate genuine relationships with unbelievers this week?
Prayer: Lord, give me eyes to see the spiritual needs around me. Help me cross barriers to share Your love. Grant me wisdom to cultivate, courage to sow, and faith to reap a harvest of souls. Amen.
