Faith Grows When You Speak Big
Jeremiah knew he was young and inexperienced, but God corrected his language before addressing his assignment. God told him plainly, “Say not, I am a child.” God was not denying Jeremiah’s age; He was refusing to let Jeremiah define himself by limitation instead of calling. Words shape belief, and belief shapes obedience.
Jesus reinforced this truth by teaching that faith is released through what we say. When words are spoken in faith and believed in the heart, they carry authority. Speaking to a mountain is not about volume or confidence—it is about alignment with God. God wants His people to speak words that agree with His purpose, not words that reinforce fear or immaturity.
Faith grows when your words stay connected to God’s command. Speaking big does not mean pretending you are somewhere you are not; it means declaring what God has already shown you while you are still on the journey.
