The Move of the Spirit Pt. 3 | Transformed for Impact Sample

Inward Transformation
Pentecost marked a turning point, not just in history, but in human hearts. The disciples had seen the risen Jesus. They had witnessed miracles and heard His teachings. Yet fear still held them captive. The miraculous alone was not enough. What they needed was transformation.
Peter’s story makes this clear. He did not suddenly decide to be brave. He was changed. The infilling of the Holy Spirit broke the grip of fear and timidity that no amount of knowledge or experience could remove. When the Spirit took His rightful place, courage replaced hesitation.
God’s promise through Joel declared that His Spirit would be poured out on all people, young and old, men and women alike (Acts 2:17–18). This outpouring was not about status or ability. You just have to be available. God fills people so that He can work through them.
Being filled is never the end goal. We are filled to be poured out. The Spirit gives vitality, purpose, and power so our lives can make a difference. When God fills us, our faith moves from private belief to public impact.
Reflection Questions:
Where might fear still be limiting your obedience to God?
What does being “filled to be poured out” look like in your daily life?
Takeaway:
The Holy Spirit transforms who we are so God can use us.
