Seeking With Your Whole Heart

God responds to pursuit. God said through the prophet Jeremiah, “You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13). This verse connotes that spiritual encounters are not accidental. They are born out of intentional seeking.
Seeking God with the whole heart means more than attending a meeting or observing a spiritual moment. It is a posture of alignment. It means setting aside distractions, expectations, and assumptions, and coming before God with honesty and openness. God is not hidden from us, but He reveals Himself to those who truly desire Him.
Many believers seek God partially. They hold back time, attention, or trust. But to grow into sonship, you need to engage fully. Mature sons do not approach God casually; they come with reverence and hunger, knowing the value of His presence.
Moments of fasting, prayer, or spiritual gatherings are invitations. God signals His willingness to move, but our responsibility is to show up with our hearts fully present. When we do, we discover that God was ready long before we arrived.
Simply pray this to get started: “Lord, I am here, and I am open.”
