The Power to ProsperSample

Day 1: Remember the Lord
This is the message I tried to avoid because I knew the backlash, but I couldn’t deny what God did in my life. I loved Jesus and preached the kingdom, yet I lived like an orphan—terrified of bills, hustling for provision, and secretly bowing to survival while quoting Scripture on Sundays.
Deuteronomy 8:18 broke me open. God gives power to get wealth to establish His covenant. Provision is not a side perk; it is a covenant confirmation. When Joy’s diagnosis hit and our savings bled out, the Lord confronted me: Matthew 6:33 wasn’t a slogan—it was an order.
Seek the kingdom first, and all these things are added, as assignment follows obedience, not anxiety. I stopped trying to get Pharaoh to like me and started living as Abraham’s seed. Heirs don’t beg. Heirs remember the Lord.
Reflection Questions
- Where have fear and survival replaced remembering the Lord?
- What does seeking the kingdom first require today?
- Which orphan habits must be surrendered so that covenant identity leads?
Prayer
Father, align my heart with Your covenant. I remember You as my source and receive the power to create wealth for Your mission. Deliver me from survival, establish me in obedience, and let provision confirm Your promise. In Jesus’ name, amen.
