Again & Again (How You Love Me)

Imagine a young child learning to walk. They stand… and fall. They take an unstable step… and fall again. Each time they fall, their parent doesn’t shame them or criticize them for not being good enough; they simply reach out, lift them up, and cheer them on. It’s the love and support of the parents that encourages them to keep trying through every failure until they are finally walking all on their own. This is a picture of our Father’s love. We may wander without purpose, fall from the holiness we are called to, and doubt the very existence or motivation of our loving God, but His arms always remain open. “Again & Again” we are reminded of God’s persistent grace for us. He doesn’t grow tired of our need for Him. He sees every part of you, your past, your present, and your potential, and chooses us. Even when you are far from God, living in sin, even before you knew Him he chose you and loved you.

This is more than sentiment; it’s the story of redemption. When Jesus, the son of God, bore our sin, He made it clear: He doesn’t just tolerate us, He delights in us, again and again. Let that truth sink in today. Let it humble you, lift you, and lead you back to worship.
