As we enter 2026, we believe God is calling us into a season of awakening — a season to rise again with bold faith and fresh purpose. That’s why our theme for this year’s 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting is simply: ARISE.

This isn’t just a word — it’s a calling. It’s heaven’s invitation to shake off the dust of discouragement, fear, or spiritual complacency, and to step into everything God has prepared for us.

We believe these 21 days will ignite something powerful in you:

• A deeper awareness of God’s presence,
• A new level of spiritual hunger,
• And the courage to walk boldly into your Kingdom purpose.

Some of the stories you’ll read in this devotional come from our own journey — moments of struggle, surrender, and breakthrough. We pray they speak to your heart and help you rise stronger in every area of your life.

Let’s seek God together— for our lives, our families, and our church. And let’s believe that 2026 will be a year of awakening, rebuilding, and revival.

Day 1: Arise, For Your Light Has Come

Reflection:
The word arise is a divine summons. It calls us out of darkness and into God’s purpose. Before any breakthrough, before any new beginning, before any step of courage, God speaks a simple yet powerful command: Arise.

When Isaiah declared this, God’s people were weary, discouraged, and surrounded by darkness. Yet God didn’t begin by addressing their circumstances — He addressed their posture. Before God changes what is around us, He often changes what is within us.

As we begin these 21 days, God is calling you out of whatever has held you down — fear, disappointment, old wounds, spiritual heaviness — and inviting you to rise into His light.

Your light has already come. His glory is already rising on you.

Story:
Pastor Leah encountered this reality in one of the darkest moments of her life. Years ago before she had dedicated her life to Jesus, she reached a crossroads — overwhelmed, exhausted, and standing at the doorstep of suicide. In that moment of deep despair, she heard the Holy Spirit whisper,“Arise and shine, for your light has come.”

Those simple words broke something inside her. Hope entered where hopelessness sat. Light pierced through overwhelming darkness. That moment became a turning point — not just for survival, but for her destiny. Today she stands, ministers, loves, and leads because the Word of God called her to rise… and she did. This can be your story too!

Prayer:
Lord, awaken my heart today. Let Your light shine on every dark place within me. Help me to rise in faith, hope, and courage as I begin this journey with You.

Confession:
I arise today because God’s light is upon me. His glory surrounds me, and I will walk in His purpose.
