LEADERSHIP WISDOM FROM the WILDSample

LEADERSHIP WISDOM FROM the WILD

DAY 4 OF 30

Resting in God's Promises

The lion is a picture of strength, yet it spends up to twenty hours a day resting. In the jungle, rest is not laziness; it is confidence. The lion rests because it knows who it is and what belongs to it. It does not panic over provision because it understands dominion.

We can learn from that. Many of us are running endlessly, driven by anxiety rather than led by purpose. We work hard, but we seldom rest well. We confuse exhaustion with effectiveness, forgetting that even God rested on the seventh day.

Isaiah 30:15 says, “In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.” Rest is not the absence of responsibility; it is the presence of trust. When you rest, you are saying, “God, I trust You enough to stop striving.”

The lion knows when to act and when to be still. Wisdom in leadership means knowing both. Some victories are won by stillness, not speed. True strength is found not in constant motion but in quiet confidence.

Take time to rest; take a holy pause. Trust while you sleep because God works. Leaders who never rest lose their roar; those who rest in God rise stronger and clearer. Rest in God's promises.

Consider: Are you leading from rest or from restlessness? Where have you confused worry for wisdom or speed for strength? Take a moment today to be still; your rest is a declaration of faith.

About this Plan

LEADERSHIP WISDOM FROM the WILD

God created animals not only for our meat but also for us to learn wisdom. When you behold the animals from the angle of love and fear for God, you will catch the wisdom of God for a prevailing life.
