The Promise of LightSample

Day 13 — Zechariah’s Song
Scripture: Luke 1:68–79 — “The rising sun will come to us from heaven to shine on those living in darkness.”
Devotional Thought: Zechariah’s voice returned just in time to praise the faithfulness of God. His song celebrates the ‘rising sun’, the Messiah, who would shine on all who sit in darkness. When God’s light breaks through, it brings forgiveness, peace, and joy. Advent is our song of praise for promises kept and dawns that finally arrive.
Prayer Prompt: Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness through every generation. Let my words and heart overflow with praise for Your goodness.
Daily Challenge: Start or end your day by writing down three things you’re grateful for, a song of praise from your own heart.
