Goodness is like a warm sunny day. God gives us the strength to choose good, and that goodness becomes a light in the world. It’s having a heart that wants to do what’s right and live in a way that pleases God.

Have you ever had the chance to do the right thing, even when no one was watching? Goodness is about choosing what’s right because it pleases God, not just because it makes us look good.

Goodness shows in our choices, honesty, and helpfulness.

That’s goodness!

Family Action/Activity:

What is one good thing you can do today? Do a “Secret Goodness Mission.” Write out simple good deeds on each paper that show goodness. Fold them up and put them in a jar. Each family member picks one “mission“ to do that day without telling anyone.

Prayer:

Dear Jesus, help me choose what is right, even when no one sees. Fill my heart with your goodness so I can shine your light wherever I go.
