Day 15: His Light in the Darkness

After losing someone she loved, Emily felt lost. The days were heavy, engulfed in darkness and uncertainty. The nights were silent. Grief felt like a fog she couldn’t escape.

A friend shared this verse with her:

"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path" (Psalm 119:105 NIV).

Emily started reading one Psalm each night. Slowly, the light came. Not all at once, but enough for one next step at a time.

God’s promises of guidance lead us to hope during our darkest times. When we face uncertainty and fear, His Word illuminates our paths, offering clarity and direction. Even in our deepest sorrow, God can lead us forward. Whatever darkness you’re walking through, His light is still shining. He hasn’t left. He’s guiding you, one step at a time.
