He's Calling by Vance K. JacksonSample

He’s Calling.
“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:20 KJV
Christ stands at the door of your heart and He’s knocking. Will you let Him in? Will you let Him into every area of your heart?
Will you let Him into every area of your life? Will you let Him into the “thorns of the past”? Will you let Him heal the “heart wounds” of the past? Will you let Him heal the offenses of the past? Will you let Him into the areas where others have hurt you?
Will you let Him into the spaces that you have shielded from the world? Will you let Him into the places that have hardened? Will you allow Him to soften your heart? Will you allow Him to give you a new heart?
Will you allow Christ to come into your heart once again? Will you return to your first Love—Christ? Will you return to the One Who created you? Will you return to the One who created every aspect of your soul? Will you allow Christ to come in?
“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.” Revelation 3:20 NLT. Christ wants to commune with you. He wants to draw close to you—if you invite Him in. Open the door of your heart.
Invite Him into the thorny places—the areas that no one else has access to. Invite Him into those areas that you’ve held close to your heart. He wants to be invited in. Will you allow Him access?
The Amplified Version puts it this way, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me.” Revelation 3:20 AMPC.
Heed to His Voice. Heed to His Word. Heed to His Way. Heed to His Promises. Obey His Command. His Word stands forever. He’s standing with His Arms wide open.
Like a Good Father, His Arms are wide open. He’s waiting. He’s knocking. He’s calling. Choose to draw close to Him.
Prayer:
Father God, in the Name of Jesus, I repent and I turn my heart to You.
Father, I choose to let go of the past and turn my heart to You. Father, I forgive those who have wronged me. Father, I forgive those who have offended me. Father, I yield my heart to You.
Father, create in me a clean heart and renew my spirit. Father, make me whiter than snow. Father, I turn to You.
In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
