The apostle Paul wrote, “. . . I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think . . .” (Rom. 12:3, ESV). This concept, contextually applied to relationships among believers, can be adapted by spouses: we ought to think more highly of one another than we do of ourselves – and convey it with words and actions. Let’s consider how.
