Face Your Sins

How many of us are without sins? No one. But don’t you ever believe the enemy’s lie that because everyone sins there is absolutely nothing wrong with your wild emotions and raw behaviour and thus there is no need to change. For we will all come before God and be held accountable for our deeds, and on that day can we confidently say what the Psalmist said?



Prayer: Lord, sorry that I have taken comfort in the flaws of humanity and try to justify my wrong behaviour. I thank you that Jesus’ redemptive work at the cross cancels out my sins and makes me a new person in Christ. Help me to face my own sins squarely and give me the resolve to make amends with Your help. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
