Who God Says I AmSample

A LIFE FULL OF VIRTUE
Today's Scripture:
For by grace, you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9 TPT
Think about this:
God says you are good. Your 'goodness' (virtue or some would call it, righteousness) does not depend on your good behavior. It is a gift from God, through Jesus who did for your sins. As we spend more time with Him, we become more like Him. We are good because He is good.
Journaling prompt 1:
Do you believe that you are a good person? Why do you believe that?
Journaling prompt 2:
In what ways can you live with excellence and integrity?
Say this out loud today:
I have the nature and character of God. My righteousness is a gift from Jesus. I am good.
