Seasons and Dreams

Do you find yourself in an uncertain season filled with highs and lows where you can’t seem to think straight, where everything seems risky and unpredictable? It’s okay! Stop wishing away seasons in your life. God uses such difficult seasons to shape you for potency.

There is more to life than the way you’re living it right now. God is molding you in this season for the dream He has for you. The most beautiful thing a person can possess in life is a dream—a God dream. “A dream is nothing but a promise that God gives to a person in a significant season of their life’’

How do you know the dream is from God? That is when only God can bring the dream to pass in your life.

There are going to be times in your life where you face immense pressure and great difficulties, but do not think of these as seasons of defeat. These are your destiny moments shaping you for greatness. Sometimes we don’t understand why we are going through what we are going through. It’s okay. God knows what He is doing. He is in complete control. It’s about time you ask God what he has in mind for you. If you’re going through something you can’t take, remember you’re being shaped.

The season you think of as a waste, as just awful pain, God can turn it into something extremely significant. Every season in your life plays a role to construct you into the big dream God has for you. So even in this uncertainty, DREAM BIG.

We often don’t do this because the word “big’’ means risk and we fear risk. But to dream big, we need courage. We need to trust in God.

How can we trust in God? We can when we know the truth that we serve a God who never makes a mistake, who does not leave us hanging, who never breaks his promise.

Today, hang in there and see what God can do through this season you’re going through. See how he is shaping you. For good things come to those who wait, who wait on the Lord.

THINK BIG, DREAM BIG!

Questions:

Where am I in life right now? Am I happy with what I’m doing and where I’m headed? Do I have satisfaction or a sense of joy when I think about my future?
