Reading: Matthew Chapter 13 

Devotional: Jesus Christ’s messages were always very accessible; He always used real life examples and elements to illustrate the spiritual life. In other words, if we pay attention to what He had to say, we will surely get His message. Like back in the day, Jesus approaches us through His written Word, to talk to us about the chance of being forgiven, about how our lives and eternity can look like, as well as about the things we can lose and the consequences we can suffer. However, Jesus will never insist when we are not interested. 

What kind of person are you? The kind that Jesus talks to or the kind that Jesus steps back from as you are rejecting Him? Are you interested in knowing Him more or in avoiding Him? Never forget, He does as you wish – He either stays and answers or moves on.
