Our mandate is peace, and those who stir up conflict are fools.
What was once primarily a category for movies and books has saturated our culture. Drama infiltrates our workplaces, neighborhoods, schools and families. There is little hope for peace when gossip and prejudice run amuck. Individuals competing for esteem while taking sides and hurling insults are crushing human spirits.
In the midst of the chaos, Jesus is our peace. His truth is what really matters. The last word doesn't belong to us because it is not our responsibility to prove what is right. We can rely on him to fight our battles and defend our cause, and His promise is blessing and prosperity for those who place their trust in Him.
Generate peace in your world today. May we not cause others to stumble in their faith by creating an offense. May our defense be Jesus, and may our kindness and obedience lead to a life of favor!
