The truth found in God’s Word is truth, no matter who you are, where you are, or what you’re facing. His Kingdom which is made up of heaven and all those who have put their faith in Jesus for salvation is real and lasting. Even more real and lasting than the objects, people, situations, and surroundings you can see with your eyes and touch with your hands.
If you have put your faith in Jesus for salvation, your best good is found in His glory and the advancement of His Kingdom. It’s your inheritance as His child, after all. This being true, you must discipline yourself to live according to the truth of His Word in the interests of His Kingdom rather than by the influence of this tangible world for your temporary benefit.
It all starts with offering His praise for Who He is and what He’s done. Go ahead. He’s waiting with patience and compassion for you to join those who are already living in obedience to Him so He can start blessing you.
Thank God for the privilege of praising Him and living a life that encourages others to praise Him too.
