BECOME LIKE A LITTLE CHILD

PRAY:  Dear Lord, As an adult and a follower of You, I want to be child-like in my spirit. Would You help me to become like a little child? Help me to take the lowly position of a child so that I can fully experience the Kingdom of Heaven! Also, Lord, please never let me hinder anyone else from seeking You and Your Kingdom. I never want to stumble in loving and encouraging other people to come to know you and to grow deeper in their understanding and love for You. I know that you have set up a world of consequences and I want to only do what pleases You and leads others to You. Thank You for your strength and wisdom. Amen.  

REFLECT:  We don't think much about changing to become a child in God's eyes. And we probably don't think enough about how to welcome others into God's Kingdom; whether they are children or adults. Knowing that God warns us about stumbling and hindering others to come to Him, what would you need to change or start doing to be used by the Lord to take the lowly position of a child and not hinder other "children" of His to find and follow Him? It's a responsibility that has consequences so we should ponder the options.

ACT:  Now is the time to change. Re-read this scripture and choose one thing that you can change about yourself to become more of a child in God's eyes and to reach out to others so that they can find Him and love Him as well. You can write it down and then check back to see how you're doing. And remember, we can't change ourselves, we need the Holy Spirit to change us. So why don't you start with a prayer!
