A Big Fish Tale

DAY 3 OF 3

The Father Knows Best

While we grow up, we depend on our parents to teach us how to do things. The more we learn, the less we depend on them over time and, eventually, we develop our own ideas of how things should be done. We start to think we know what’s best, and sometimes we stop listening to anyone but ourselves. This type of thinking can get us into trouble. God, who created us, surely knows what’s best for us.

If you ever find yourself thinking you know it all, go to the Father in prayer. Seek Him for the answers to questions about yourself, others, or life. He can answer anything you have a question about, and with that answer you will have peace. If you don’t feel peace about a decision, you should wait. You may not hear God’s voice aloud, but you will hear His answer in your mind and heart. Rest in faith and know He will lead you where you should go!
