Ephesians 5:1-2

A adoração que sobe e é aceita pelo Senhor é como o incenso, oferta agradável. É a exposição vulnerável da mulher que derrama seu bem precioso aos pés de Jesus. É a oferta simples da viúva, os poucos pães e peixes da criança disposta a servir… É o coração contrito e quebrantado que jamais será desprezado. É a expressão genuína da gratidão!

Children are a blessing from the Lord, no matter the circumstances surrounding their birth (Psalm 127:3).  If you are a father, thank God for it and decide right now that you are going to be what God wants you to be in your children’s lives, a visible, tangible illustration of Him, no matter what choices you’ve made to this point.  Being a good father really is not as complicated as you might think!  All you have to do is love your children like your Heavenly Father loves you.

The opposite of mastery is mediocrity, and mediocrity is nothing less than a failure of love and a misrepresentation of the image of God. In this Plan, you’ll explore why Christians should have the highest standards of excellence in our work, what we should be looking for in our “one thing,” and how you can achieve mastery of your vocation for the glory of God and the good of others.

Paul, a liberated prisoner of the Lord, begged the church at Ephesus “to walk in a manner worthy of the calling.” We are the Father’s representatives on earth and our calling is to represent Him well. As you strive to live a vibrant life or an abundant life, you become more certain of His calling and choosing of you.
