The Hospitable Heartਨਮੂਨਾ

DON'T MISTAKE YOUR ANGEL FOR A STRANGER!
There are moments when you feel stretched thin — moments when you are asked to accommodate or help someone even though you barely have enough for yourself. Perhaps you had already resolved to settle for warm water and a simple prayer before bed, only to receive a sudden call for help. In such moments, it may seem logical, even responsible, to decline without consulting God. But what if that “helpless” or “stranded” person is not just anybody… what if that person is your angel?
It is not enough to be a fiery prayer warrior — calling down heaven, seeking breakthroughs, expecting miracles. Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit is just as important. Sometimes, the miracle you are praying for is wrapped in an unexpected opportunity to show hospitality. That stranded stranger could be the very angel carrying the answer you have been waiting for. And instead of drinking warm water that night, you might end up enjoying a full meal — toasted bread and chilled juice — delivered through divine orchestration.
Abraham’s story in Genesis 18:1–15 remains a powerful reminder. He welcomed strangers into his tent, not knowing they were angels. Yet the declarations they made released the long-awaited promise into his household.
Could your own breakthrough be standing at your door, disguised as a need?
Be discerning. Be hospitable.
