'Tis the Season

The Christmas season is one of the busiest times in our lives. Because we know this, how about we plan on sitting with PaPa for a few minutes each morning?

Prayer

Dear PaPa,

My friend and I give this time to You. We praise You for YOU ALONE are HOLY! You are the One True God! You are the Alpha and Omega! You are Faithful! You are our Promise-giver and Promise Keeper! You are tender, loving, compassionate, and so very patient with us. Thank You!

We love You!

1 Peter 1:3 (TPT) “Celebrate with praises the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has shown us his extravagant mercy. For his fountain of mercy has given us a new life – we are reborn to experience a living, energetic hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”

·What does your celebration of praises look like?

·How has His “fountain of mercy” blessed you this week?

·Can your “hope” be defined as “living, energetic”?

Why? Why not?

Luke 1:28 (TPT) “Gabriel appeared to her and said, 'Grace to you, young woman, for the Lord is with you and so you are anointed with great favor.”

Please talk gently to yourself. No name-calling. No bullying. Only speak life-giving words to yourself. Replace any negative titles you have spoken to yourself with life-affirming names. Speak these positive attributes out loud to yourself now.

When you get home today, take a moment to repeat this last exercise as you stand in front of your bathroom mirror. I encourage you to do this daily for the rest of this month. I believe this is very important because many times we are hardest on ourselves. Consider this a Christmas gift to yourself.
