God’s Strengthening Word: Singing for Joyਨਮੂਨਾ

Introduction
Isaiah 2:1–5: In today’s reading, Isaiah describes how God will treat those who sin and rebel against him but will save everyone who repents. The reading concludes with a vision of the future Jerusalem and everlasting peace.
Today’s Key Verse: Isaiah 2:3b GNT
He will teach us what he wants us to do; we will walk in the paths he has chosen.
Reflect
Reread verses 2–4. What were your thoughts as you read these words? How do you envision what is described? In what ways does your life demonstrate that you “walk in the paths [God] has chosen” (verse 3)?
Pray
Merciful God, I repent of my sinful ways and offer you a humble and contrite heart. Teach me what you want me to do so that I may walk in your righteous paths. Amen.
Tomorrow’s Reading
Isaiah 9:1b-7: The prophet describes a future king.
