Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Twoਨਮੂਨਾ

That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection (Philippians 3:10 NKJV).
Do you know God intimately and proclaim the gospel regularly?
God reveals Himself to us through His Word, inviting us into a personal relationship with Him and guiding us to obey His commands. In today’s reading, Moses stated, “The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of the law” (Deuteronomy 29:29 NKJV). Through Scripture, God unveils His nature and His will, granting us the privilege to know Him intimately and live in accordance with His teachings.
Consider the devoted women who visited Jesus' tomb early on Sunday morning, intending to anoint His body for burial (Mark 16:1). These women knew the Word Himself and had a personal encounter with the resurrected Lord. Later, Jesus instructs His disciples, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15 NKJV).
As a Christian, it is vital for you to study God’s word and then proclaim the Gospel to every creature!
Employment Point: Know Him through the revealed Word, and proclaim Him broadly.

About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
