Because I love your commands more than gold, more than pure gold

Therefore I love your commandments above gold, above fine gold.

Truly, I love your commands more than gold, even the finest gold.

Therefore I love thy commandments Above gold; yea, above fine gold.

I stood up for justice and the right; don’t leave me to the mercy of my oppressors. Take the side of your servant, good God; don’t let the godless take advantage of me.
