and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?

and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?

And he said, “‘This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.’

and he also said, ‘ For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh ’?  

and said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?

He answered, “Haven’t you read in your Bible that the Creator originally made man and woman for each other, male and female? And because of this, a man leaves father and mother and is firmly bonded to his wife, becoming one flesh—no longer two bodies but one. Because God created this organic union of the two sexes, no one should desecrate his art by cutting them apart.”

and said, ‘FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND HIS MOTHER AND BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH’?

and said, ‘FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND SHALL BE JOINED INSEPARABLY TO HIS WIFE, AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH’? [Gen 1:27; 2:24; Mark 10:7]
