Don’t worry about anything, but in every situation, pray and give thanks to God and ask him to help you.

Whatever you’ve learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me, put into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

I know what it’s like not to have the things I need, and I know what it’s like to have more than I need. I’ve learned the secret of being content in any circumstances. I’m content whether I’m well fed or hungry, whether I have more than enough or I don’t have enough.

I’m not saying this because I need something. I’ve learned how to be content in any situation.
