The Release of Control
Lord, help me fight the temptation to control. Oftentimes I believe the outcomes I want are what is best, but Father, I know Your ways are higher. You know what I do not and You care for details in ways I cannot imagine. Help me trust You. Keep my heart tethered to Your desires and Your Word. As I walk through my days, filled with highs and lows, strengthen me with Your truth and love. In Jesus' name, amen.

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.
