What is financial freedom?

Provision - My basic needs are met.
Protection - Security that our provision will not be taken.

The weights on the scale are our choices.

Tithe = 10% of your income.

Principle of the First.

This is a worship issue. This is a heart issue before it is ever a money issue.

Cain said, "I’ll bring what I want, when I want it."

Abel said, "God, I will bring you my first and my best."

If you really want to know where someone’s heart is, look where they spend their money and where they spend their time.

Following the Principle of the First by returning the tithe is less about our receiving blessing from God and more about aligning our hearts to His.

Give to the LORD the glory he deserves! Bring your offering and come into his presence. Worship the LORD in all his holy splendor.

Parents: Your decisions, good or bad, will influence your kids. There is no one on this planet with more influence over your children than you. Don’t waste it!

Uzziah was faithful but in his success he drifted, and it cost him the throne.

You promote what you permit.

Greed, like every sin, is always connected to pride.

1. He called the ministers to get right with God.

2. He called them to fix the temple.

You will never fix the temple if the people running it are broken.

Idol worship of any type is always the misalignment of the heart.

Do I need to change some things so I can more accurately represent the person that God says I am?

3. He gathered the leaders, and they purified themselves and brought their sacrifice.

4. He brought in the worship team to play music.

5. He called the people to bring their sacrifices.

Worship had transformed their hearts from hearts of greed to hearts of generosity.

Generosity, as it relates to worship, aligns our heart with God in ways that nothing else will.
